MILL AND
RESURFACE LOCAL ROADS
The City of South
Pasadena is seeking sealed bids for the milling and resurfacing of
Huffman Way, 14th Avenue S, Corey Way S, Island Drive S,
Durling Drive S. and one alley totaling approximately 98,470 square
feet of roadway and replacing all thermoplastic roadway markings.
Bid packets for
this project can be obtained free of charge from the Finance
Department at South Pasadena City Hall 7047 Sunset Drive South,
weekdays between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Bids will be opened at
2:00 p.m. on February 3, 2012. Questions regarding this project

The City of South
Pasadena reserves the right to waive any informalities or to accept
or reject any or all bids in part or in total and award the contract
in the best interest of the City.

RE-ROOF FIRE STATION
Sealed
bids will be received at the City of South Pasadena, City Hall, 7047
Sunset Drive, South Pasadena, Florida, 33707, in Pinellas County,
until 2:00 p.m., on February 3, 2012 for Re-roof of the Fire
Station.
The work for which proposals are invited consists of the following
improvements:
Provide labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to
install 100% acrylic coated foamed roofing system to create a
seamless, waterproof roofing system that is properly drained using
existing scuppers on two roofs at the South Pasadena Fire Station
located at 911 Oleander Way South, South Pasadena Florida. The
total roof area being replaced is approximately 8,525 square feet.
Contractor shall tear off and remove the existing built-up membrane
to the lightweight concrete deck over. Remove all wet lightweight
fill and replace with like kind to roof height. In accordance with
manufacturer’s instructions, install sprayed polyurethane foam and
coat with acrylic elastomeric roof coating. Contractor must be an
authorized installer of the spray foam system. The roof must carry a
full warranty for a period of not less than 15 years.
Bids will be publicly opened in Commission
Chambers at 2:00 p.m. on February 3, 2012. Instructions and
contract documents may be obtained from the City of South Pasadena
Finance Department between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.,
Monday through Friday at no cost. Questions regarding this project

All bids must be accompanied by a certified
check, bank draft, or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of
the total proposed price, made payable to the City of South
Pasadena. Which check, bank draft or bid bond shall guarantee that
should the proposal be accepted, the contractor will, within ten
(10) days after the acceptance of his proposal, enter into a
contract with the City of South Pasadena for the services proposed
to be performed.
